A 17-year-old boy from Stafford was taken into custody on Wednesday, May 22, police in Prince William County said.
The boy faces charges of murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, robbery, and shooting at an occupied vehicle, in connection with the July 18, 2023 slaying of 18-year-old Jayson Lewis, of Stafford, police said.
Police said Lewis died as the result of a marijuana deal gone bad on Big Crest Lane in Woodbridge. An acquaintance called police reporting the shooting, and Lewis was airlifted to a hospital, where he died, authorities said.
